Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Dept. appreciates communities who are initiative to help neutralizing pollutant level of Sentiong River, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

We got a lot of help from other parties

"We are grateful for communities' initiative in helping us," conveyed Teguh Hendarwan, Head of Jakarta SDA Dept., Monday (7/30).

He mentioned, Keluarga Alumni Universitas Gadjah Mada (Kagama) DKI Jakarta Peduli Sampah helps to spray microbes that contains of lactic acid into Sentiong River. Besides, Himpunan Kerukunan Tani Indonesia (HKTI) DKI Jakarta also gives similar aid.

"Some communities from ITB also offer its assistance to us," he added.

All this time, he continued, his side and Jakarta Environment (LH) Dept. are always accompanying communities who want to help solving Sentiong River's problem.

"We got a lot of help from other parties. We will see the result this Friday," he said.
